The time is approaching! In 2 weeks, on June 27th, I will be on a plane headed for Lebanon to teach for the summer!

First off, thank you so much to those of you who have been supportive and encouraging during my preparation for this trip. Whether it's been listening to my crazy ideas, giving me advice or just being excited for me, your friendship and support has meant a lot.

Also, a big thank you to those of you who have donated school supplies for the students this summer. I greatly appreciate it, as will the students! I'm excited to put those supplies into action!

My plan is to use this blog as my main form of communication over the summer. I'm not sure how much internet access I will have and when I do, how long I will have it for. I also don't want to overload all your inboxes with emails as I'm sure we all get enough already! Please, check back throughout the summer or follow me (through the button on the menu on the right, either by subscription or through Google), if you want to stay updated.

Feel free to email me while I am over in Lebanon but I can not promise a speedy response. You can always comment on this blog if it's easier :) My goal is NOT to be connected to technology as much as possible while over there.
